Did any of you see the Smurfs movie?
We took the nephews to see it in the theater and I thought it was cute, but I have to say that my favorite part of the movie was when they were in NYC and they were talking about missing everyone back home and Smurfette says, "You know who I don't miss? Passive Aggressive Smurf...when he leaves I always feel really bad."
It was a moment of cinematic genius!
(Ok, that might be a stretch...)
You may not know this about me, but right after chronic tardiness, passive aggressiveness tops my list of pet peeves.
Perhaps it is because I am rarely shy about asking for what I want, but it just drives me batty when people try to get their way through passive aggressive behavior.
ASK
FOR
WHAT
YOU
WANT!!!
WHAT
YOU
WANT!!!
This weekend Match, Papa, and I took the nephews to Flagstaff for a mini vacation. We were in the truck and Tiny was eating a bag of Cheetos when Biggie looked at me and said, "I wish I had some Cheetos."
Well, as Popie used to say, you can wish in one hand and sh*t in the other and tell me which one fills up first.
I just don't get it. Do you want Cheetos? Does someone in the truck have Cheetos? Isn't it easier to just ask, "Tiny, can I have some of your Cheetos?"
Please, can someone explain this behavior to me?
I'm not a doctor, but I'm losing my patience...
